Article 11 مكرر of Tenancy Law

The lessor and lessee may agree to authenticate the lease contract and give it the force of an enforceable instrument for collection of overdue rent after formally notifying the lessee and submitting a certificate attesting that the rent has not been deposited, subject to the following conditions: 1- The lease contract must be in writing and signed by the lessor and lessee. 2- The rent stated in the lease contract must be of a specified amount, due for payment on a specified date. 3- The lease contract must be notarized in accordance with the aforementioned Law No. 01 of 0202 and endorsed with the executory formula.
