Article 18 مكرر of Social Insurance Law

If the insured person's service ends because a final sentence imposing a custodial penalty has been passed against them, and they are not entitled to payment of a retirement pension pursuant to Article (17) of the Law, they shall be entitled to a temporary pension calculated on the basis of the contribution period under this insurance, provided that it is not less than fifteen years. Payment of this pension shall be due from the date of actual imprisonment or the date of termination of service, whichever is later. Payment of this pension shall continue even if the term of imprisonment ends, until the person again becomes subject to this Law or Military Retirement Pensions and Gratuities Law No. (69) of 1980, or the conditions for entitlement to payment of the retirement pension are met, or two years have elapsed from the date imprisonment ended, whichever is earliest. Payment of the pension throughout the period of imprisonment shall be in accordance with the decision referred to in Article (103) of this Law.
