Article 23 of Social Insurance Law

The retirement pension may not exceed the salary on the basis of which that pension was calculated, and that 1( a amended pursuant to Law No. 121 of 2023 2( a amended pursuant to Law No. 9 of 2011 in respect of the insured person subject to the provisions of this Chapter. Payment of insurance contributions shall be suspended when the contribution period calculated under this insurance reaches the amount necessary for entitlement to the maximum pension stipulated in the preceding paragraph. The suspension shall continue even if the insured person takes up new employment after leaving the scope of application of the provisions of this Chapter. Amounts previously deducted as a contribution from which the insured person did not benefit shall be refunded.
