Article 8 of Social Insurance Law

The Institution shall be represented in its dealings with third parties and before the judiciary by its Director General. Those whom he authorizes, whether employees of the Institution or others, shall have the right to plead on its behalf before the courts. The Director General shall be responsible for implementing the policy formulated by the Board of Directors and shall have competence to administer the Institution and to perform everything assigned to his competence by a law or regulation. He may delegate some of his powers to the Deputy Directors General, and shall submit the following to the Board of Directors within the three months following the end of the financial year: a- The Institution's final balance sheet, accompanied by detailed statements of the individual assets and liabilities of each of the Institution's funds. b- A general account of revenues and expenditures for each of the Institution's funds. c- A general report on the Institution's activities, its financial position, and the investment aspects of its reserves.
