1 - The pledgee creditor shall be obliged to take the measures necessary to preserve the pledged thing, and if that thing is a commercial paper, he must, upon maturity, take the procedures necessary to collect its value. 2 - The pledgor shall be liable for all expenses incurred by the pledgee creditor for this purpose.

۱ - يلتزم الدائن المرتهن باتخاذ الوسائل اللازمة للمحافظة على الشيء المرهون، وإذا
كان هذا الشيء ورقة تجارية فعليه عند حلول الأجل أن يقوم بالإجراءات اللازمة
لاستيفاء البدل.
٢ - ويكون الراهن ملزما بجميع المصروفات التي ينفقها الدائن المرتهن في هذا
