Article 258 of Commercial Code

1 - Anyone who establishes or operates a public warehouse contrary to the provisions of Article 239 shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year and a fine not exceeding two hundred dinars, or by either of these two penalties. 2 - The court may order publication of the judgment of conviction or a summary thereof in the Official Gazette and its posting on the doors of the warehouse or in another place, at the expense of the convicted person. In the event of conviction, the court may also order liquidation of the warehouse, appointing the person who shall carry out the liquidation and specifying his powers.
