Article 406 of Commercial Code

An instrument lacking any of the particulars mentioned in the preceding Article shall not be considered a bill of exchange except in the following cases: 1 - If the bill of exchange does not state its place of creation, it shall be considered created at the place indicated beside the drawer's name. 2 - If it does not state the time of maturity, it shall be considered payable at sight. - If it does not state the place of payment, the place mentioned beside the drawee's name shall be deemed the place of payment and, at the same time, the drawee's domicile. The bill of exchange shall be Law Index 1311 Home Page payable at the drawee's domicile if payment at another place is not stipulated.
