English translation
In the event of recourse against one of the obligors for the unaccepted portion of the amount of the bill of exchange, the person who pays that portion may require its holder to record such payment on the bill of exchange and deliver to him a receipt therefor. The holder shall additionally deliver to him a copy of the bill of exchange certified as a true copy and deliver to him the protest, to enable him to exercise his right of recourse against others.

في حالة الرجوع على أحد الملتزمين بالقدر غير المقبول من قيمة الكمبيالة، يجوز
لمن وفي هذا القدر أن يطلب من حاملها اثبات هذا الوفاء على الكمبيالة وتسليمه
مخالصة به. ويجب على الحامل فوق ذلك ان يسلمه صورة من الكمبيالة مصدقا
عليها بما يفيد انها طبق الأصل وأن يسلمه البروتستو تمكينا له من استعمال حقه في
