English translation
The holder of a bill of exchange in respect of which a protest for non-payment has been drawn up may or impose a precautionary attachment on the movables of each of the drawer, acceptor, endorser, guarantor by aval, and other persons liable under the bill of exchange, subject to the procedures prescribed therefor in the Civil and Commercial Procedure Law concerning precautionary attachments.

يجوز لحامل الكمبيالة المعمول عنها بروتستو عدم الوفاء أو يوقع حجزا تحفيظـا
على منقولات كل من الساحب والقابل والمظهر والضامن الاحتياطي وغيرهم من
الملتزمين بالكمبيالة، مع مراعاة الإجراءات المقررة لذلك في قانون المرافعات المدنية
