English translation
1 - Cheques issued in Kuwait and payable therein may be drawn only on a bank, and instruments drawn in the form of cheques on an entity other than a bank shall not be considered valid cheques. 2 - Every bank holding funds for payment and having delivered to its creditor a book of blank cheques for payment from its treasury shall write on each cheque therein the name of the person who received the book.

١ - الشيكات الصادرة في الكويت والمستحقة الوفاء فيها لا يجوز سحبها إلا على بنك،
والصكوك المسحوبة في صورة شيكات على غير بنك لا تعتبر شيكات صحيحة.
٢ - ويجب على كل بنك لديه مقابل وفاء وسلم لدائنه دفتر شيكات على بياض
للدفع بموجبها من خزانته أن يكتب على كل شيك منها اسم الشخص الذي تسلم
