Article 511 of Commercial Code

A cheque shall contain the following particulars: 1- The word cheque written in the body of the instrument and in the language in which it is written. 2- The date of drawing the cheque and the place where it is drawn. 3- The name of the person required to pay (the drawee). 4- The name of the person to whom or to whose order payment must be made, in accordance with what follows in Articles 516 and 517. 5- An unconditional order to pay a specified sum of money. 6- The place of payment.
