Article 533 of Commercial Code

1 - A cheque drawn in Kuwait and payable therein, its presentation for payment within one month. 2 - If it is drawn outside Kuwait and payable therein. It shall be presented within three months. - The aforementioned time limits shall begin from the date indicated on the cheque as its date of issue. 4 - Presentation of the cheque to a legally recognized clearing house shall be equivalent to presentation for payment.
