Article 154 مكرر of Kuwaiti Penal Code

The killing referred to in the preceding Article shall be punishable by imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years and a fine not exceeding two thousand dinars and not less than one thousand dinars, or by either of these two penalties, if the killing is accompanied by any of the following circumstances: 1- The perpetrator's consumption of an intoxicating, narcotic or psychotropic substance, or any other substance affecting a person's natural faculties. 2- If the perpetrator's act results in the death of two or more persons. 3- The perpetrator's refusal or neglect, at the time of committing the act, to assist the victim while able to do so. The penalty shall be imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years and a fine not exceeding ten thousand dinars, or either of these two penalties, if two or more of the circumstances stipulated in the preceding paragraph occur together.
