Article 68 of Kuwaiti Penal Code

Every sentence imposing a felony penalty necessarily entails depriving the convicted person of the following: 1 - Holding public office or working as a contractor or concessionaire for the account of the State. 2 - Standing for membership of public councils and bodies or being appointed as a member thereof. 3 - Participating in the election of members of public councils and bodies.
