Article 70 of Kuwaiti Penal Code

If a judge sentences a public official to a misdemeanor penalty for bribery, torturing an accused person to induce him to confess, using the authority of office merely to harm an individual, using official seals in a manner contrary to law, or forgery, the judge shall order his removal from office for a period specified in the judgment, which shall be not less than one year and not more than five years.
