Article 53 of Private Sector Labour Law

The worker shall be entitled to half the end-of-service gratuity stipulated in Article (51) if he terminates the indefinite-term contract on his own initiative and his period of service is no less than three years but has not reached five years. If his period of service reaches five years but has not reached ten years, he shall be entitled to two-thirds of the gratuity, and if his period of service reaches ten years, he shall be entitled to the full gratuity.
