Article 62 of Private Sector Labour Law

In calculating the worker’s entitlements, the last wage he received shall be taken into account. Cash benefits and benefits in kind shall be assessed by dividing the average of what the worker received thereof during the last twelve months by the entitlement. If his period of service is less than a year, the average shall be calculated in proportion to the portion thereof that he spent in service. The worker’s wage may not be reduced during his period of employment for any reason whatsoever.
