Article 97 of Private Sector Labour Law

1 - The medical report issued by the treating physician or the determination of the Medical Arbitration Committee concerning the condition of the injured worker shall determine the liability of the previous employers, and each of them shall be liable in proportion to the period the worker spent in his service, if the industries and work in which they engage are such as to cause the disease afflicting the worker. 2 - The worker or those entitled after him shall receive the compensation provided for in Article (94) from the Public Institution for Social Security or the insurance company with which insurance is held, as the case may be, and each of them shall have recourse against the previous employers in respect of their obligations provided for in paragraph (1) of this Article.
