Article 9 of Oil Sector Labour Law

The official holidays granted to a worker with full pay are: Hijri New Year's Day: one day National Day: one day Isra and Mi'raj: one day Eid al-Fitr: 3 days Day of Standing at Arafat: 3 days Eid al-Adha: 3 days The Noble Prophet's Birthday: one day Gregorian New Year's Day: one day If overtime work circumstances require employing the worker on an official holiday, the worker shall be entitled, in addition to the ordinary wage, to additional pay for every hour worked equivalent to twice the wage for that hour.
