Article 124 of Code of Civil Procedure

English translation

The court may, by a decision issued at the request of a litigant or on its own motion, without oral argument, correct purely material errors, whether clerical or arithmetical, occurring in its judgment. The court clerk shall make this correction on the original copy of the judgment, and both he and the presiding judge shall sign it. If a decision refusing correction is issued, it may be challenged only together with a challenge to the judgment itself. A decision making a correction may be challenged independently by the methods of challenge permissible against the judgment being corrected, if the appellant maintains that the decision was not confined to correcting purely material errors.
