Article 53 of Code of Civil Procedure

A decision of the Minister of Justice shall specify the procedures for establishing the plaintiff’s knowledge of the hearing date, the administrative time limit to be observed by the Registry in scheduling the hearing, and that to be observed by the process server in serving the statement of claim; the procedures for delivering the statement of claim from the Registry to the plaintiff or the process server and its return by either of them to the Registry; and the procedures for delivering documents and memoranda to the Registry and retrieving documents from the case file. The decision shall specify the disciplinary sanctions and penalties to be imposed when the aforementioned bodies neglect to observe the time limits and procedures it prescribes, provided that the penalty does not exceed a fine of two hundred dinars.
