Article 6 of National Assembly Elections Law

The President and members of the General Elections Commission and the employees of the General Secretariat are prohibited from the following: 1. Standing as candidates in elections during their period of work at the Commission. 2. Practicing any job or profession, affiliating with any public-benefit association or trade union, or undertaking other work, paid or unpaid—other than their original work—during their period of work at the Commission. . Disclosing secrets or any information they obtained during their period of work. . Receiving or accepting any money, benefits, donations, or gifts of any kind and from any entity. h. Participating in any form whatsoever in election campaigns.
