Neither the chairperson nor any member of the General Elections Commission, nor any employee of the General Secretariat, may be related up to the second degree to any candidate in the elections. In such a case, he must disclose this in writing immediately upon learning of the candidacy, so that the Commission may take appropriate measures in this regard, including the possibility of assigning someone to replace him. The provisions of the aforementioned Law on the Prevention of Conflicts of Interest shall apply to the chairperson and members of the General Elections Commission and the employees of the General Secretariat. لا يجوز أن يكون أي من رئيس أو أعضاء المفوضية العامة للانتخابات، أو أي
من موظفي الأمانة العامة قريبا لأحد من المرشحين حتى الدرجة الثانية في
الانتخابات، وعليه في هذه الحالة الإفصاح عن ذلك كتابة فور علمه بترشحه
لتتخذ المفوضية الإجراءات المناسبة بهذا الشأن بما فيها جواز ندب من يحل
محله.
وتسري على رئيس وأعضاء المفوضية العامة للانتخابات وموظفي الأمانة العامة
