Article 10 of National Assembly Elections Law

The Public Authority for Civil Information shall provide the General Secretariat of the General Elections Commission with lists containing the full names and particulars of Kuwaitis who have reached the legal age for exercising the right to vote, arranged alphabetically for each electoral constituency separately, including their civil identification card numbers, nationality certificate numbers and dates of acquisition, and the location and address of their residence recorded on their civil identification cards. The General Secretariat shall enter the names of Kuwaitis in the electoral roll for their constituencies in accordance with the lists, after verifying that all conditions required for exercising their electoral rights are met, no later than the tenth day of each month. Updates to these particulars shall include the following: a - Adding the names of those who reached the legal voting age by the end of the preceding month. b - Adding the names of those wrongfully omitted for any reason. c Deleting the names of the deceased. d - Deleting the names of those who have lost the required qualifications or whose names were entered contrary to this Law. e - The names of those who have changed their residential addresses. The electoral rolls shall be published in the Official Gazette during the eleventh and twelfth days of each month.
