Article 24 of Judicial Organisation Law

Before assuming their duties, judges shall take the following oath: I swear by Almighty God to judge justly between people and to respect the laws and regulations of the country. The President of the Court of Cassation, his vice-president, the President of the Court of Appeal, its deputy and the President of the Court of First Instance shall take this oath before His Highness the Amir in the presence of the Minister of Justice. Counsellors and judges shall take the oath before the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council; except for Cassation counsellors, the oath shall be taken in the presence of the president of the competent court. )3(
