Article 51 of Judicial Organisation Law

The application shall be filed within thirty days from the date of publication of the challenged decision in the Official Gazette, its notification to the interested party, or his certain knowledge thereof. The application shall be filed by a petition deposited with the Registry of the Court of Cassation, containing, in addition to the particulars concerning the litigants’ names, capacities and places of residence, the subject matter of the application and a sufficient statement thereof. The applicant shall deposit with the petition copies thereof equal to the number of litigants, a bundle of documents supporting his application and a memorandum of his defence. The president of the division shall set a hearing to consider the application, and the Registry shall serve the litigants with a copy of the petition, together with a summons to attend the specified hearing. No fees shall be payable on this application.
