Article 66 of Judicial Organisation Law

In disciplinary trials of members of the Public Prosecution, the provisions and procedures prescribed for disciplining judges and set out in Articles 40 to 49 of this Law shall be followed, except that service of the statement of the disciplinary action and notification of the substance of the judgment issued by the Disciplinary Council shall be undertaken by the Public Prosecutor. A disciplinary action against the Public Prosecutor shall be instituted by the Minister of Justice. In this case, the Minister shall undertake all procedures. Part Five: Employees of the Courts and the Public Prosecution Article 67 (2) The Ministry of Justice shall appoint a sufficient number of employees to perform financial, administrative and clerical work at the courts and the Public Prosecution. The Minister of Justice shall issue the decisions necessary to regulate these matters. Subject to Article (61) of the Civil Service Regulations, the presidents of the courts and the Public Prosecutor shall, in respect of the employees subordinate to each of them who occupy posts in the general, auxiliary technical and supporting job groups, have authority to impose all disciplinary penalties except dismissal from service and demotion, which shall be imposed by a decision of the Minister of Justice. Except as stated in the preceding two paragraphs, employees working at the courts and the Public Prosecution shall be subject to the provisions prescribed in the Civil Service Law and Regulations. The provisions of Law No. 96/10 amending certain provisions of Decree-Law No. 23 / 90 concerning the Organization of the Judiciary also included a fourth article, the text of which is as follows: Fourth Article: The expression Supreme Council of the Judiciary shall replace the expression Supreme Judiciary wherever it appears in the aforementioned Judiciary Organization Law in another law, or regulations. Part Six: Final Provisions
