Article 44 of Copyright and Related Rights Law

Without prejudice to any more severe penalty prescribed by another law, anyone who commits any of the following acts shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of not less than six months and not more than two years and a fine of not less than one thousand dinars and not more than one hundred thousand dinars, or by either of these two penalties: 1 - Manufacturing, assembling, importing or exporting, for the purpose of sale, rental, trading or distribution, any device, means or tool designed or prepared specifically to circumvent technological protection measures used by the author or the holder of a related right. 2 - Breaching technological protection measures used by the author or the holder of a related Law Index 547 Home Page Copyright and Related Rights Law Law No. 75 of 2019 Promulgating the Copyright and Related Rights Law right to protect the rights provided for in this Law or to preserve the quality and purity of copies of works, without right. - Removing, disabling or impairing any technical protection or electronic information intended to organize and manage the information necessary for managing the rights prescribed in this Law, without right. 4 - Deleting or altering any information in electronic form necessary for managing the rights prescribed in this Law, without right. h - Distributing, importing for distribution, broadcasting, communicating to the public or making available to it works, subject matter of related rights or copies thereof, knowing that information in electronic form necessary for managing the rights prescribed in this Law has been deleted from or altered in them without right. 6 - Storing or loading any copy of computer programs, applications or databases onto a computer without authorization from the author, the holder of a related right or their successors.
