The Authority, in cooperation with the competent entities, shall concern itself with preparing emergency plans and plans for managing natural hazards, including dust and sandstorms, droughts, flash floods, earthquakes, cases of fish and marine organism mortality, and others, in addition to environmental hazards that may result from human activities. In all cases, the competent entities shall manage these plans and provide the requirements for their success, and the Authority shall concern itself with monitoring their performance and submitting the necessary reports concerning them to the Supreme Council.
