English translation
The Supreme Council shall, when necessary, appoint environmental monitors from among the Authority's employees or from outside it in State institutions to monitor the environmental malady therein. The Supreme Council shall determine the time period, the specific duties of their work, and their remuneration. State institutions shall cooperate with the environmental monitors and provide them with all data necessary to perform their work and accomplish their required duties. The Executive Regulations of this Law shall determine the functions of environmental monitors and the conditions required for their selection. In all cases, their qualification shall not be lower than the academic degree, and their years of experience shall not be fewer than 10 years.

يعين المجلس الأعلي عند الحاجة مراقبين بيئيين من موظفي الهيئة أو من خارجها
في مؤسسات الدولة لمراقبة الداء البيئي فيها ويحدد المجلس الأعلي الفترة الزمنية
والمهام المحددة لعملهم ومكافآتهم ، وعلي مؤسسات الدولة التعاون مع المراقبين
البيئيين وتزويدهم بكافة البيانات اللازمة لأداء عملهم وإنجاز مهامهم المطلوبة .
وتحدد اللائحة التنفذية لهذا القانون إختصاصات المراقبيين البيئيين والشروط الواجب
توافرها لإختيارهم ، وفي كافة الأحوال لا يقل مؤهلهم عن الدرجة العلمية ولا
