Article 123 of Environmental Protection Law

Within two years from the date of issuance of this Law, the state entities concerned shall determine the conditions and standard specifications for all energy-consuming devices, equipment, systems, machinery, and materials. Importation of any materials not conforming to these specifications is prohibited. The Executive Regulations shall specify the entities concerned with determining the specifications, the mechanism for issuing them, and ensuring their implementation.
