Article 156 of Environmental Protection Law

Anyone who commits an act violating the provisions of this Law shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not more than seven years if it results in a person sustaining a permanent disability. The penalty shall be imprisonment for a term of not less than three years and not more than ten years if the violation results in three or more persons sustaining that disability. If the act results in the death of a person, the penalty shall be imprisonment for a term of not less than five years and not more than fifteen years, and shall be life imprisonment if the act results in the death of three or more persons.
