The Authority shall, in coordination with the competent authorities, attend to implementing the requirements of international conventions relating to the management of chemicals and hazardous substances and waste, and conducting comprehensive national surveys of chemical compound emissions. The Authority shall also, within two years of the issuance of this Law, attend to preparing the national chemical safety programme and developing plans and timetabled programmes for its implementation in cooperation with the relevant authorities in the State. تعنى الهيئة بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة بتنفيذ متطلبات الإتفاقيات الدولية
المتعلقة بإدارة المواد الكيمائية والمواد والنفايات الخطرة وتنفيذ المسوحات الوطنية
الشاملة لإتبعاثات المركبات الكيمائية ، كما تعنى الهيئة خلال عامين من صدور هذا
القانون بإعداد البرنامح الوطني للسلامة الكيميائية ووضع الخطط والبرامج الزمنية
لتنفيذها بالتعاون مع الجهات المعنية فى الدولة .
