The authority competent for the activity of extracting quarry materials or importing them shall cooperate with the Authority and the other competent authorities in determining the areas and lands designated for extracting these materials or in regulating those already existing, in accordance with the conditions and procedures specified in the Executive Regulations of this Law. In doing so, consideration shall be given to determining these lands based on geological surveys Law Index 291 Home Page Environmental Protection Law Law No. 42 of 2014 concerning Environmental Protection and the environment of the various areas within the territory of the State.

تلتزم الجهة المختصة بنشاط إستخراج المواد المقلعية أو بإستيرادها بالتعاون مع
الهيئة وبقية الجهات المختصة بتحديد المناطق والأراضي المخصصة لإستخراج هذه
المواد أو بيتنظيم القائم منها وفقاً للشروط والإجراءات المحددة باللائحة التنفيذية
لهذا القانون ، ويراعى فى ذلك تحديد هذه الأراضى بناء على المسوحات الجيولوجية
