Article 42 of Environmental Protection Law

The Authority shall, in cooperation with the concerned entities, determine the requirements relating to pesticides, fertilizers, and soil conditioners with respect to the following: - 1 - The types and specifications of these substances that may be produced, manufactured, imported, circulated, or used in the State. 2 - The permissible limits for pesticide residues on locally produced or imported foods. - The conditions that must be observed for disposal of pesticide residues or compounds used in their manufacture or whose validity for use has expired. - The procedure for registering these substances or renewing their registration. h The conditions and specifications for taking samples of these substances, methods of analysing them, and evaluating the results of analysis. 6 - How to monitor, assess, and treat pollution resulting from the circulation or unsafe or incorrect use of these substances.
