Article 56 of Environmental Protection Law

Smoking is absolutely prohibited on public transport. Smoking is also prohibited in enclosed and semi-enclosed public places, except in places designated for that purpose, in accordance with the requirements and controls specified by the Implementing Regulations of this Law. Publicity and advertising for cigarettes and types of tobacco, its derivatives and its accessories are also absolutely prohibited within the territory of the State of Kuwait. All entities shall take all measures necessary to prevent smoking in these places in a manner ensuring the prevention of harm to others. )2(
