Article 2 of Law on the Practice of Medicine and Allied Health Professions

Any person who undertakes, personally, through another person or by any other means, any of the following acts shall be considered to practise medicine: 1 - Giving medical advice for the purpose of diagnosing or assessing the course of a disease, preventing it, treating it or improving human health. 2 - Prescribing, giving or applying treatment for disease, its prevention or the improvement of human health. 3 - Undertaking any examination, assessment, procedure, intervention or any medical or surgical act. 4 - Taking or requesting materials from the human body for medical examination for the purpose of diagnosis, treatment, prevention or improvement of human health. 5- Requesting laboratory tests and evaluating their results for the purpose of diagnosis, treatment, prevention or improvement of human health. 6 - Using radiation and radioactive materials of all types for the purpose of diagnosis, treatment, prevention or improvement of human health. 7 - Using physical techniques and materials, such as sound and light waves and other materials, for the purpose of diagnosis, treatment, prevention or improvement of human health. 8 - Giving a medical certificate or report concerning the state of health. 9 - Conducting forensic medical examinations or autopsies on dead bodies, or giving medical reports in that regard.
