Article 3 of Law on the Practice of Medicine and Allied Health Professions

The following professions shall be considered professions allied to medicine: 1 - Nursing and auxiliary nursing services. 2 - Oral health and dental laboratories. 3 - Physiotherapy and occupational therapy. 4 - Optics. 5 - Radiology, nuclear medicine and radiation protection. 6 - Medical and health laboratories. 7 - Prosthetics. 8 - Medical emergencies. 9 - Speech and hearing. 10 - Public health. 11 - Therapeutic nutrition and feeding. 754 Home Page Index of the Law Law on the Practice of Medicine and Allied Professions Law No. 70 of 2020 concerning the Practice of Medicine and Its Allied Professions, Patients' Rights and Health Facilities 12 - Psychotherapy and psychological counseling. 13 - Sterilization. 14 - The following other auxiliary medical services: tissue transplantation - organ preservation - brain, heart and muscle recording - anesthesia, artificial heart and respiratory therapy - genetic testing - foot treatment - preparation and control of medicines). The Minister may add other professions allied to medicine. He shall also issue a decision defining and determining the conditions and controls for holding and practicing each of these professions the regulation of their practice, after seeking the opinion of the relevant professional public-benefit associations.
