Article 6 of Law on the Practice of Medicine and Allied Health Professions

To obtain a license to practice the profession in the private sector, the applicant for the license must be insured against the risks and errors of practicing the profession with an insurance company licensed for that purpose in accordance with the provisions of the laws in force in the State. The owner of the health facility shall be obliged to pay the insurance fees and renew the insurance for all persons working therein, and this shall apply to visiting practitioners at the facility.
