Article 66 of Law on Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances

By a decision of the authority competent to make appointments in each entity, a screening test for the use of narcotic and psychotropic substances and preparations without a medical prescription may be added to the medical examinations required to complete the procedures for appointment to public posts. That authority, or its delegate, may also, after coordination with the Ministry, conduct those tests on its employees periodically and randomly, during their official working hours, to detect the extent of their use of any narcotic substances or preparations without a medical prescription. The Minister of Interior may also add them to the examinations required for granting driving licences of all categories and licences to possess weapons and ammunition. The Minister may also add that test to the medical examinations required to complete marriage procedures. If it is established that those undergoing the latter examinations have taken those substances or preparations without a medical prescription, no criminal proceedings shall be instituted against them.
