English translation
The court may exempt from the penalties prescribed in this Decree-Law any perpetrator who takes the initiative to inform the public authorities of the crime and its perpetrators before they become aware of it. The court may also mitigate the penalty if, during the investigation or trial, the perpetrator facilitates the arrest of one of the perpetrators of the crime by the competent authorities.

يجوز للمحكمة أن تعفي من العقوبات المنصوص عليها في هذا المرسوم بقانون،
كل من بادر من الجناة بإبلاغ السلطات العامة عن الجريمة ومرتكبيها قبل
علمها بها.
كما يجوز للمحكمة تخفيف العقوبة إذا سهل الجاني للسلطات المختصة أثناء
