Article 80 of Law on Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances

The employees of the authorities competent to supervise plant and agricultural resources whom the competent Minister designates shall have the same authorities and powers prescribed for the Ministry employees specified in the preceding Article, with respect to crimes committed in violation of the provisions of Articles (34, 35, 36) of this Decree-Law. The Public Prosecution may take the necessary measures to seize, gather, or cut down any cultivation prohibited under the provisions of this Decree-Law and collect its leaves and roots at the expense of the perpetrators of the crime. After being placed under seal, these items shall be kept in the warehouses of the authorities competent to supervise plant and agricultural resources until the criminal case is finally adjudicated.
