English translation
The court may exempt from punishment any perpetrator who takes the initiative to report the offence to the competent authorities before they become aware of it and before commencement of the commission of the offence. If the report is made after awareness of the offence and before commencement of the investigation, exemption from punishment shall require that the report be such as to lead to the apprehension of the remaining perpetrators where there is more than one perpetrator.

للمحكمة أن تعفي من العقوبة كل من بادر من الجناة بإبلاغ السلطات المختصة
بالجريمة قبل علمها بها وقبل البدء في تنفيذ الجريمة ، فإن كان الإبلاغ بعد العلم
بالجريمة وقبل البدء في التحقيق تعين للاعفاء من العقوبة أن يكون من شأن الإبلاغ
