Article 116 of Capital Markets Authority Law

The non-criminal circuits of the Court of First Instance shall, of their own motion, refer the actions pending before them that have come within the jurisdiction of the Capital Market Court pursuant to the provisions of this Law to the latter court in the state in which they stand. If a litigant is absent, the Registry shall serve notice of the referral upon him, requiring him to appear at the specified times before the circuits to which the action has been referred. The provisions of the preceding paragraph shall not apply to actions in which part of the merits has been adjudicated, actions in which an interlocutory judgment thereof has been issued for part of the dispute, and actions in which a decision has been issued adjourning them for pronouncement of judgment, even with permission to submit memoranda. The criminal courts shall continue to hear the cases pending before them on the date this Law comes into force concerning offences that have come within the jurisdiction of the Capital Market Court.
