Article 140 of Capital Markets Authority Law

One or more Disciplinary Boards shall be established within the Authority, composed of three members and chaired by a judge seconded by the Supreme Judicial Council, with two members experienced in financial, economic, and legal affairs. The term of membership of the Disciplinary Board shall be three years, renewable. The Board shall consider the following matters: a - Determination of disciplinary proceedings referred to it and brought by the Authority relating to violations of the provisions of this Law or the Regulations or any decisions or instructions issued thereunder. 2 - Determination of grievances brought against decisions of the Exchange and its Committee for Considering Violations. When considering grievances against decisions of that Committee, the Authority's Disciplinary Board shall be deemed an appellate body, and its determination thereof shall be final. The Executive Regulations shall specify the system, rules, and procedures governing the work of the Disciplinary Board and the manner of issuing Law Index 1371 Home Page Capital Markets Authority Law Law No. 7 of 2010 concerning the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and the Regulation of Securities Activity its decisions and notifying the persons concerned thereof.
