Article 142 of Capital Markets Authority Law

The Authority's Legal Department shall undertake administrative investigation of the violations set out in this Law and its Regulations and referred to it by the Authority. For the purpose of conducting the investigation and performing his work, the investigator shall have the following powers: 1 - The right to request any data, documents, or records from any governmental entity or entity concerned with the Authority's activity. 2 - The right to hear witnesses' testimony. - Summoning or requesting the attendance of anyone whose statements he considers it necessary to hear. 4 - The right to visit and examine any register or data held by any governmental entity or entity concerned with the Authority's activity.
