Article 27 of Telecommunications Regulatory Authority Law

a - Subject to paragraph b of this Article, no person may use any radio frequencies unless he obtains a licence therefor in accordance with the conditions determined by the Board. b - The armed forces and security agencies may, in coordination with the Authority, use the radio frequencies allocated and assigned to them without a licence in a manner that does not cause the radio allocated and assigned to them without a licence in a manner that does not cause interference with other frequencies. Military and security entities may use other allocated frequencies provided that they obtain the Authority's approval, comply with the same licensing conditions applicable to other licensees, and do not harm other beneficiaries of radio frequencies, provided that they are exempted from licensing fees. c - Subject to the provisions of any other law requiring a licence to operate broadcasting services, operators of these services, including radio, television, satellite broadcasting, and receiving devices, must obtain a licence which the Authority allocates.
