Article 3 of Decree-Law No. 47 of 2026 concerning Combating Terrorist Crimes

The provisions of this Decree-Law shall apply to anyone who commits outside the State any of the crimes stipulated therein if they constitute a terrorist act in any of the following cases: 1 - If the crime is committed on board a means of air, land or maritime transport belonging to the State. -2- If the commission of the crime is liable or intended to cause harm to any of the State’s citizens, its security, any of its interests or property, or the premises and offices of its diplomatic or consular missions, or its institutions or branches abroad or those working therein. -3- If he compels the State or any of its authorities or institutions to perform an act or refrain from it.
