Acquisition of Kuwaiti nationality by a non-Kuwaiti employee appointed under one of the contracts in use. Its effect: transfer to the Kuwaiti category and adjustment of employment status either by transfer at the same employment grade held under the contract or to the employment grade to which the employee is entitled under the appointment rules of the cadre to which the employee is transferred, whichever is more favourable, effective from the date of acquisition of Kuwaiti nationality.
