Article 1074 of Civil Code

1 - The following rights, to the extent due for the last six months, shall have a privilege over all the debtor's movable and immovable property: a) Amounts due to servants, workers, and every other wage-earner for their wages and salaries of whatever kind. b) Amounts due for food, clothing, and medicine supplied to the debtor and his dependants. c) Maintenance owed by the debtor to those he is obliged to maintain. 2 - These amounts shall be satisfied after judicial expenses, amounts due to the Public Treasury, and preservation and repair expenses. As between themselves, they shall be satisfied proportionately.
